Meatliquor has announced it will be opening a new restaurant on Northcote Road in Battersea.

Battersea residents have previously been able to order the chain’s food through a Deliveroo Editions ‘dark kitchen’ in the area. Meatliquor said it saw good sales on its well-known menu items such as the Dead Hippie burger, but said the ‘dark kitchen’ route did not prove viable.

The new restaurant is expected to offer a similar menu to other Meatliquor branded sites featuring the menu items that have made it well-known in the capital, including the aforementioned Dead Hippie burger.

The chain currently has nine London sites including Meatmarket in Covent Garden, Meatmission in Hoxton and seven Meatliquor restaurants.
