Bar 190, located within the luxury boutique hotel, The Gore London – Starhotels Collezione in Kensington, has appointed Santo Borzi as bar manager.
With more than 18 years’ experience in the restaurant and bar industry, Borzi will be responsible for all aspects of the bar’s management, as well as utilising his extensive skills as a mixologist, and formerly sommelier, to develop an “innovative and refined drinks menu”.
Most recently, he was the assistant bar manager at the Hyde Bar at the Park Tower Knightsbridge and before this, head sommelier for its One-O-One Restaurant.
Borzi said: “I am thrilled to be joining the team at Bar 190 – it’s an iconic venue with a wealth of history in one of my favourite neighbourhoods. I look forward to drawing on the bar’s rock and roll heritage and reputation for bespoke experiences through my cocktail creations.”
