Pizza Express to open new restaurant in Oxford Summertown

Pizza Express has announced that it is opening a new location in Oxford Summertown on 13 July. 

This latest opening brings the brand’s estate to a total of 360 restaurants across the UK  and Ireland, each one representing an “important part” of local high streets and communities. 

The opening of Pizza Express Oxford Summertown builds on the brand’s mission to make its pizzas available to customers no matter where they are – from Soho, London to Summertown Oxford. 

The new restaurant will also support the local economy by bringing 20 new jobs and career opportunities for the community. 

The new interior is the work of its design team and includes artwork by Italian interior designer Enzo Apicella, who worked with Pizza Express’ founder, Peter Boizot, to create some of the brand’s aesthetics.

Upon entering the newly remodelled pizzeria, guests will see the open kitchen, which takes centre stage as pizzaiolos knead and flare dough right in front  of customers’ eyes. 

The pizzeria will serve up the brand’s classic pizzas along with new dishes following the recent launch of its summer menu.
