Liverpool restaurant Panoramic 34 has announced the appointment of Elliot Hill as its new head chef.

The restaurant said that Hill will bring a “unique” style of cooking to Panoramic, and that the front of house and kitchen team are “hugely excited with the new developments that are planned under Elliot’s tuition”.

Hill spent his earlier career training in Russia, before he moved to London where he held the role of executive chef at the Park Tavern, Wandsworth. He was later on the team for the launch of Hotel Gotham in Manchester

His last venture was with Oddfellows Hotel in Chester, a concept restaurant inspired by the fantasy of Alice in Wonderland.

Hill said: “I’m loving the challenge of creating some great new dishes using good locally sourced produce.

Merseyside has an abundance of suppliers who can deliver quality seasonal ingredients to allow us to give our guests the best food experience. I’m working on new menus to offer our diners the best of everything.”
