Elior Group has announced the appointment of Joanne Deval as the company\u2019s chief information officer (CIO). It is said that she reports to Bernard Gault, group interim CEO, and is a member of the group executive committee.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nJoanne Deval has 20 years\u2019 experience in information systems, digital transformation, and innovation after reportedly spending most of her career at Air Liquide. After three years as product manager for the French industrial merchant Air Liquide Affiliate, she became Europe industries zone risk manager in 2010.\u00a0\r\n\r\nShe was then appointed as managing director for AL Czech Republic and AL Slovakia, before becoming CIO for Air Liquide's industrial activities in Europe in 2013. In 2019, she reportedly became Air Liquide Group\u2019s chief information officer, a position she held until her arrival at Elior Group.\r\n\r\nWithin Elior Group, it is said that she will be responsible for managing the group's information systems activities, defining and implementing its IT strategy and ensuring the digital transformation of its activities.\r\n\r\nBernard Gault, group interim CEO, said: \u201cThe group executive committee is very pleased with the arrival of Joanne Deval as our new CIO.
