Tony Parkin has revealed that he has left his position as chef patron at the Cliff House Hotel in County Waterford, Ireland.
Parkin confirmed his departure, following just over two years in the role, in a post on Instagram giving no reason for his departure.
He stated in the post: “After an incredible two-and-a-bit-years, today was my last day at the Cliff House Hotel and at the House restaurant”.
He described his time at the hotel as “an incredible journey full of ups and downs”.
He also thanked the restaurant team for their support in his time there namely head chef James Freeman.
Parkin’s CV spans more than two decades and takes in roles at Copenhagen restaurants Noma and Kommendaten as well as being a private chef for Lord and Lady Bamford.
