Hopetoun House, the 18th Century estate near Edinburgh, has confirmed a five-year extension of its catering and hospitality partnership with Heritage Portfolio.
The agreement ensures the specialist events caterer will continue to manage food and beverage services for private events and large-scale occasions.
The next phase of the partnership includes a refurbishment of the Stables Kitchen. The cafe, located within the restored Adam Stables, provides light lunches and afternoon tea.
Upgrades to the facility will support an expanded events offer and provide greater versatility for the venue. The extension is also expected to create new jobs within the local hospitality workforce.
Heritage Portfolio provides private and corporate hospitality for several British cultural destinations. Its Scottish portfolio includes the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and V&A Dundee.
Sandy Robson, executive director of Heritage Portfolio, said: “Hopetoun House is one of Scotland’s most prestigious and iconic historic stately homes, and it has been a privilege to work within such a remarkable setting for over 20 years. The house’s rich heritage, architectural grandeur and reputation for excellence make it a very special place to welcome guests.
“We are proud to continue this long-standing relationship and look forward to creating many more exceptional experiences. We remain committed to delivering outstanding food, service and hospitality that honours both the history of the House and the expectations of those who visit it.”
Piers de Salis, general manager of Hopetoun House, added: “Our partnership with Heritage Portfolio has been an integral part of how Hopetoun House welcomes visitors and delivers hospitality events for more than 20 years. Extending this agreement allows us to build on a relationship founded on trust, shared standards and a deep understanding of the House and its heritage.
“As we look ahead, this continued collaboration will support further investment in our visitor offer, including enhancements to the Stables Kitchen, while ensuring that food, service and hospitality remain aligned with the quality and character people expect from Hopetoun.”
