Eden Caterers has been appointed as a catering partner for St John’s Waterloo, providing climate-friendly menus for arts organisations, charities and community groups using the South Bank venue.
The appointment builds on Eden’s recent experience catering for events at the Grade II listed church, which reopened in 2022 following a £5.5m restoration.
The venue now hosts a year-round music programme in its nave performance hall alongside meeting rooms, rehearsal studios and flexible event spaces.
Menus will range from breakfast buffets and sandwich lunches to hot bowl food, with a focus on sustainability and affordability.
St John’s achieved Gold Eco Church status in 2023, while Eden has been recognised with multiple industry awards, including the 2024 Sustainability Award for Caterers at the London Venue and Catering Awards.

St John’s Waterloo, located near Waterloo station, continues to host concerts, exhibitions and community gatherings, with all bookings supporting its local outreach work.
Nick Mead, managing director of Eden Caterers, said: “Partnering with St John’s is a natural fit. We understand their audiences, their ethos, and the importance of creating events that are as sustainable as they are memorable.”
Kate Cullinan, head of events at St John’s Waterloo, added: “Our restored spaces are a vibrant hub for the arts and for the charity and community sectors. Having Eden Caterers as our partner means our clients can enjoy high-quality, sustainable food from a team that knows our venue, understands our needs, and cares about the same things we do.”
