Compass One, part of Compass Group UK and Ireland, has acquired Peabodys Coffee, the provider of quality food and beverages within healthcare environments, as it seeks to expand in the NHS.
Led by Claudia Mascino, MD, Peabodys Coffee started its journey in 1997 in London hospitals, with food that is prepared daily.
It currently employs 55 individuals and operates at 10 NHS locations throughout England.
The acquisition will support Peabodys’ growth, with plans to launch new cafes at seven hospital sites in the coming months.
