Italian restaurant group Big Mamma Group has announced that it will open its first restaurant in Birmingham on 29 November.

La Bellezza will be opening at Paradise, 2 Chamberlain Square in the heart of Birmingham, bringing Big Mamma’s hospitality offering to the Midlands.

The menu will feature a collection of homemade Italian dishes prepared with produce that the group sources from over 170 trusted suppliers directly from Italy, such as Puglian burrata from Salvatore Montrone and 22-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano DOP from Paolo Gennari.

Inspired by the little trattorias found all across Italy, La Belezza will be “romantic and whimsical” with 150 covers indoors and an intimate 25-cover terrace.

Big Mamma co-fouders Victor Luggre and Tigrane Seydoux, said: “Our main goal as restaurateurs is to bring to life the warmth and generosity of those little trattorias you find hidden throughout Italy. La Bellezza will be the epitome of this.

“We are hugely excited to be coming to Birmingham, not only to be part of its incredibly vibrant restaurant community but to also bring our superb Italian products, which we spent 3 years personally sourcing from small family-run artisans, to another major European city.”
