Craft beer company Brewdog has announced plans to open its first UK craft beer hotel in London, following a “successful”opening in Ohio, America.

The group is now searching for a location that it can convert into the Doghouse London, and said the hotel will be “packed with so many cool beer-related features [guests] will never want to leave”.

Like its Ohio counterpart, the property will have fresh craft beer guests can pour for themselves in each room, in addition to its “iconic” shower-beer fridges. It added that it “may even fit a Punk IPA Jacuzzi as well”.

The group opened its previous craft beer hotel in America last summer, adjacent to its brewery.

A statement by the Brewdog read: “The DogHouse London will be nothing short of the ultimate hotel for craft beer geeks. As such it will have its own craft beer museum like our hotel in Columbus where you’ll be able to check out the exhibits before you check out.

“Beer knowledge is power. Suitably armed, you can then head to some (or all) of our 12 London BrewDog Bars and continue your beery vacation.”
