Hampshire’s Three Lions Restaurant placed on the market for £1.1m

The Three Lions Restaurant, located in the Hampshire hamlet of Stuckton, has been placed on the market for £1.1m.

The two-story detached building features a spacious internal trading area for up to 65 covers and seven double en-suite letting rooms, all of which are named after different types of tree such as Maple, Willow and Cherry.

The business currently trades as a restaurant serving classic French and British cuisine.

Externally there are extensive manicured, tree lined gardens, parking spaces for 45 vehicles, and a grassed paddock. 

The property also includes a four bedroom, self-contained apartment which is currently used as owners accommodation but could alternatively be utilised as staff or manager apartments or converted as additional guest bedrooms.

The Three Lions has previously received several accolades for its food, drink and accommodation, including a VisitEngland Silver award and Breakfast award and it is also featured in the Michelin Guide and Harden’s Best UK Restaurants 2018.

The restaurant has been run by hands on owner operators, Mike and Jayne Womersley for the last 25 years, who have now decided to sell in order to retire from the trade.
