The investment from has been used to transform the 15th Century pub into a modern drinking and dining venue, whilst retaining its traditional character. Works includes exterior work to install a larger outside decking area, which can now hold around 200 guests.

The interior of the pub has also been refurbished, with the installation of new kitchen and toilets, as well as a new bar and dining area where guests can enjoy a seasonal menu and a range of beverages including craft ales.

Chris Green said: “My family and I are hugely excited to have the opportunity to revitalise the Stansfield Arms and take it new heights. This pub is very much a community hub and the refurbishment will allow us to hold even more community events and attract new visitors to the area.
