Massimo Bottura, culinary figure and chef patron of the three-Michelin-star restaurant Osteria Francescana, will assume a five-day residency at The Conduit member’s club in London.

Bottura will take up residency from 11 to 15 September at the venue which opens next month.

The Conduit claims to be a pioneering new community that brings together content and inspiration from a network of entrepreneurs, innovators, investors and activists across a breadth of industries and demographics, as well as combining it with a world-class hospitality experience.

The week Bottura takes over The Conduit’s Restaurant is expected to be filled with “creativity, tradition and innovation”, and will culminate in a fundraising dinner from which all proceeds raised will be donated to his non-profit organisation, Food for Soul. Through the organisation, Bottura has committed to address the issues of food waste and hunger.

The culinary mastermind, who topped the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list earlier this year for a second time with his critically acclaimed Modena restaurant, is famed for exploring – and redefining – the heritage of Italian cooking, while referencing history, art and philosophy.

Reproducing the original Osteria Francescana menu, diners will experience a selection of the restaurant’s dishes, ranging from ‘The Crunchy Part of the Lasagna’ to the signature dessert ‘Oops! I dropped the lemon tart’.

Bottura’s arrival will be the first in a quarterly programme of chef residencies, hosted by the member’s club.

Mark Somen, CEO of The Conduit, said: “It is a privilege to welcome Massimo to The Conduit as our inaugural guest chef, and we look forward to entertaining our members and guests with his iconic menus, brought straight from the heart of Modena, amidst our convivial 4th Floor Restaurant.”
