Honest Burgers has agreed to open a new restaurant at Cribbs, adding to the retail and leisure destination’s expanding food and drink offer.
The British burger chain will occupy the former GBK unit on the second floor of Cribbs Mall, taking around 3,000 sq ft. The opening follows the arrival of Pizza Express last year as Cribbs continues to refresh its food and beverage line-up.
Honest Burgers serves beef burgers made using meat prepared in its own butchery and offers a range that includes smashed burgers, chicken and plant-based options, alongside rotating local and seasonal specials.
The brand also serves rosemary chips made in-house.
The new restaurant will join existing operators at Cribbs including Wagamama, Nando’s, Chopstix, Itsu, Patisserie Valerie and Slim Chickens.
Emma Sherwood-Smith, chief commercial officer at Honest Burgers, said: “Bristol has always been an important city for Honest Burgers, so opening our third restaurant here feels incredibly special.
“Since launching in 2011, we’ve focused on serving great British beef, homemade rosemary chips and locally sourced ingredients, and Cribbs Causeway is an exciting destination for us to bring that Honest experience to even more people. We’re looking forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces.”
Iain Minto, senior director of asset management at Sovereign Centros by CBRE, added: “Honest Burgers is a strong addition to our food and beverage line-up and is well suited to our growing younger shopper demographic. Our ability to offer a full day-out retail and leisure experience continues to resonate with younger generations.”
