The Indian Brewery Company is set to open a new venue at Birmingham Airport, marking the brand’s first airport location and its third site overall.

The restaurant will open in February 2026 in the airport’s International Pier, next to the departure lounge, under a partnership with TRG, a UK travel hub hospitality operator. Construction and fit-out are currently under way.

The new site will serve a range of locally brewed craft beers alongside the company’s Indian-inspired food menu, adapted for airport travellers.

The offer will include breakfast items, hot sandwiches, toasties and sides, as well as a bar serving beer and cocktails.

Jon Knight, TRG chief executive, said: “This much-loved Birmingham brand continues to build real momentum, and we are proud to be part of that journey. Set within a bespoke space in the airport’s flight departure area, guests will be able to enjoy Indian Brewery’s food menu and award-winning craft beers.”

Richard Gill, commercial director at Birmingham Airport, added: “We are delighted to be working with such a great local operator, The Indian Brewery, in partnership with TRG, to open its third restaurant at Birmingham Airport this winter.”

Jaspal Purewal, chief executive of The Indian Brewery Company, concluded: “We are super excited to be opening in Birmingham Airport, creating more jobs and helping towards shining the light on Birmingham. The site would showcase locally brewed beers and food to passengers travelling through the airport, alongside a small range of branded merchandise.”
