French patisserie Ladurée is set to open a new boutique on South Molton Street in Mayfair this December, followed by a retail site at Broadgate Central in early 2026, as it continues to expand its London presence.
The two openings form part of the company’s longer-term UK growth strategy and coincide with the 20th anniversary of its arrival in Britain.
Ladurée first entered the UK market in 2005 with a boutique at Harrods, which was also its first international opening.
The South Molton Street site will be Ladurée’s latest addition in Mayfair, following recent openings including South Audley Street. Located close to Oxford Street and Bond Street, the boutique will offer a selection of sweet and savoury items available to take away or eat in.
The space will include eight indoor seats and 12 outdoor seats and has been designed by Studio Ravn. The interior draws on traditional Parisian patisserie design while incorporating contemporary elements.
The menu will include Ladurée’s core range of macarons, Eugénie pastries, viennoiseries, ice creams and hot drinks.
The second opening, planned for early 2026, will be a retail-focused boutique at Broadgate Central, next to Liverpool Street station. The site will sell macarons, gift boxes and other patisserie products, extending the brand’s footprint into the City’s business district.
Ladurée now operates across multiple London locations including Covent Garden, Burlington Arcade, the Royal Exchange, Selfridges and Liberty, and travel hubs such as Heathrow, Gatwick and St Pancras.
The company recently completed a renovation of its Burlington Arcade boutique.
Alongside its retail expansion, Ladurée has continued to collaborate with cultural institutions. Most recently, it partnered with the Victoria and Albert Museum on a limited-edition macaron gift box inspired by Marie Antoinette, timed to coincide with the museum’s exhibition “Marie Antoinette: Style”.
The brand has also operated a series of seasonal pop-ups in London this year, including carts at Liberty London and a festive kiosk in Covent Garden offering hot drinks, viennoiserie and macarons.
According to the group, the new permanent openings and temporary activations underline Ladurée’s continued investment in the UK market and its focus on selective growth in central London locations.
Mélanie Carron, group chief executive of Maison Ladurée, said: “This exceptional address allows us to connect with the unique spirit of the Mayfair neighbourhood, offering a refined and intimate space that expresses our vision of a modern Parisian boutique, where heritage, elegance and conviviality come together.”
