Scottish restaurant group Tony Macaroni has announced plans to expand across the UK through a new franchise growth strategy for 2025–26.
Founded in 2007, the Italian dining brand currently operates 13 restaurants and employs more than 300 staff.
As part of the Viva Italia Group, Tony Macaroni is now seeking experienced operators and entrepreneurs to open new locations in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Managing director Sep Marini said the franchise model had been designed to combine “operational simplicity with a menu people genuinely love”.
The franchise package includes training, launch support, centralised purchasing and ongoing operational and marketing assistance from the company’s head office.
Investment requirements range from £300,000 to £1m, with a franchise fee of £20,000, plus royalty and marketing fees based on turnover.
Tony Macaroni said it plans to open new sites in city centres, shopping malls and retail parks as part of its steady UK-wide expansion.
Established in 2007, the brand has built a strong reputation for freshly prepared Italian food. It has received several national industry awards and continues to grow through its integration of digital ordering, delivery partnerships and a customer rewards programme.
Marini added: “Our goal is to make Tony Macaroni accessible to more communities across the UK. With our rewards app, online ordering and digital marketing, franchisees have modern tools to attract and retain customers.”
