Wingstop UK has announced that both revenues and profit rose in the nine months to 29 December 2024, as the group welcomed “record” results bolstered by a growing estate.

Over the period, its revenues rose from £84.7m to £125m, while operating profit rose from £4.1m to £13.7m.

The group opened 15 new stores in this time, and business was also supported by strong underlying sales from its existing estate. Some 57 stores were open at period end.

The group also formed its senior leadership team which comprises Chris Sherriff, CEO, Paddy Bamford, CFO, Matt Sheppard, COO, Faye Ryder-Humphries, people director and Dirujan Sabesan, CMO.

Its latest update comes as the group changed its year-end to December, with the first three months of 2024 covered in the period ended 31 March 2024. Going forward its accounts will be for 12 months to December.

Looking ahead, Wingstop UK said current trading is in-line with expectations, and “supported by deep connection with loyal customers and communities and industry-leading Net Promoter Scores”.

It has also welcomed an investment from Sixth Street, which completed in January 2025, which saw it become a majority shareholder to drive future growth.

In its latest update, the group also unveiled plans to reach 200 stores within the next five years.

Paddy Bamford, CFO said: 2024 was a transformational year for Wingstop UK, delivering record results across every metric and further strengthening profitability. Since partnering with Sixth Street in January 2025, we’ve accelerated our UK roll-out programme and deepened our investment in people.

“We’re focussed on building the UK’s leading fast-casual restaurant brand, powered by the hard work and dedication of our people — the heartbeat of our business. I’m proud that Wingstop UK continues to be recognised as one of the Best Places to Work, and through initiatives like The Step Up Programme and Wingstop University we remain committed to creating opportunities for our people to grow.”

He added: “With trading in line with expectations, new store openings across the country, and 2025 shaping up to be another landmark year, we’re excited by the scale of expansion opportunities ahead while staying true to our focus on youth culture, our communities, and sustainable growth.”
