Wingstop has opened a second restaurant in Liverpool, following the brand’s debut at Liverpool One earlier this year.
The new site, in Edge Lane’s Liverpool Shopping Park, spans 3,305 sq ft and seats 115 diners. It will serve the chain’s full menu of wings, tenders, burgers and sides.
The opening forms part of Wingstop’s wider expansion in the UK. The brand now operates 74 outlets and employs more than 3,000 people.
It group has previously said it aims to grow to as many as 200 sites within the next five years.
Chris Sherriff, chief executive of Wingstop UK, said: “Hot off the heels of our Liverpool One launch, we’re thrilled to keep up with demand by opening a second location at Liverpool Shopping Park.
“The city’s youthful energy, vibrant culture and iconic music scene make it the ideal spot to fuel our fast-paced growth. Thank you to our incredible team and the loyal Liverpool community who make it all possible – we can’t wait to bring even more flavour to the North West.”
