Pasta Evangelists is planning to more than double its restaurant estate in 2025, starting with a new site in Guildford this month.

The pasta brand, which opened a flagship restaurant and pasta academy in Farringdon in June, said it expects to have more than 15 locations by the end of the year. The expansion follows the conversion of its Farringdon site from a cookery school to a combined restaurant and academy.

Already serving about 350,000 portions of pasta a month through delivery and takeaway, the company said the new openings would focus on bringing its dine-in offer to more towns and London boroughs.

According to the company, it has identified 10 new sites in what it described as “top foodie locations in London and beyond”, and that each restaurant will also include its Pasta Academy, which hosts pasta-making classes.

Finn Lagun, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Pasta Evangelists, said: “We’re investing heavily in creating a business that is rooted in experience and connection and are excited to expand into new communities looking for something different.

“The City and its surrounding boroughs are thriving spots for workers in search of a delicious lunch that’s hot, fresh, fast and great value for money.”

He added: “Expanding out of London and into home counties like Surrey will take our fresh artisan pasta and sauces – as well as the experiential Pasta Academy – to the family market which is a huge opportunity. 2025 signals a major milestone in our commercial journey as we continue to scale up with new and existing franchise partners.”
