Restaurant Six by Nico is officially opening its first venue in the heart of Bristol in February at Quakers Friars.

Guests can expect to embark on a “unique” culinary journey and enjoy a dining experience that is set to embrace and celebrate local suppliers.

Six by Nico is best known for its ever-evolving six-course tasting menu concept that changes every six weeks. Each menu is inspired by a destination, memories and creative storytelling.

Since opening the first Six by Nico in 2017, owner and chef, Nico Simeone had one ultimate goal: to bring an accessible tasting menu experience to more people, blending creative dining with an affordable price point.

The Six by Nico journey began in Glasgow, the city Simeone calls home, where his passion for food and family came together with the launch of his first restaurant. Inspired by his Italian grandparents, who owned a chip shop, the debut menu of the Six by Nico concept, ‘The Chippie’, celebrated both his Scottish and Italian heritage with dishes like the twist on a deep-fried Mars Bar—Chocolate Pave and Irn Bru Sorbet.

Upon the arrival of the first Bristol location, Simeone said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be opening our first Six by Nico restaurant in the heart of Bristol. This vibrant and bustling city has a unique energy that we believe will challenge our creativity and inspire us to push new boundaries. We’re excited to be part of the local dining scene and to share our passion for innovative, high-quality food with the people of Bristol.

“When we launched our ‘At Home’ service during the pandemic, we saw a strong connection with the local community, which made this opening feel like a natural next step. Forming strong relationships with local suppliers is a key priority for us, as we aim to bring people together and create unforgettable culinary experiences in this dynamic city.”
