The Cladach Beach House, Scotland’s only cocktail bar located on the beach, on the Isle of Arran, has been put up for sale for £195,000.
The bar features both indoor and outdoor seating, a cosy indoor log burner, outdoor fire pit and Tiki-style bar.
The room can accommodate for around 25 seated with a mixture of both leather sofas and wooden tables and chairs.
The bar is situated five minutes drive or 40 minutes walk from the Arran Ferry Terminal.
Current owner Stuart Fraser has owned the business since 2019 and is now selling to focus on other business interests.
Fraser said: “It is bittersweet to be selling this business which has been a source of great excitement and possibilities for me and my team over the years. However, we are ready to move on to our next challenge after five profitable and fun years at the beach! It’s a magical place with all sorts of business opportunities. We will miss it.”
Tony Spence, associate director at Christie and Co, which is handling the sale, added: “This is a very unique opportunity to acquire a beacon destination venue on the Isle of Arran, one of Scotland’s most accessible islands off the West Coast which attracts around 400,000 annual visitors. Our clients have owned the profitable business since 2019 and are now selling to focus on other business interests.
“The Cladach Beach House currently operates as a bar serving excellent cocktails, gin and beers which are brewed on site and offers plenty of growth opportunities, particularly with a new food offering. The venue is currently renowned for hosting several BBQ and pizza pop ups over the year however a new owner could look to add a more permanent food fixture.”
