Tom Browns Brasserie in Gunthorpe, Nottingham, has been put on the market by current owner RedCat Pub Company for £1.2m.

Situated on the banks of the River Trent the business benefits greatly from its picturesque location and is “highly popular” for its spacious alfresco dining terrace.

The restaurant can hold around 120 covers with separate first floor space for offices or accommodation.

It also features a cocktail bar area and modern multi-sectional dining areas and has been awarded two AA Rosettes and a feature in the Michelin Restaurant Guide 2018/19.

Matt Hill, business agent at Christie and Co, which is handling the sale, said: “Tom Browns Brasserie is an extremely popular and well known venue. This listing will provide an experienced operator an opportunity to further expand their portfolio with an iconic venue.

“We ask any seriously interested parties to visit initially on a discreet basis, enjoy the food, take in the setting and consider the opportunity available.”
