Food hall Arcade Battersea set to open 26 July

The hall has seating for 500, with Arcade’s direct-to-table ordering system, with only groups of 12+ requiring a reservation

Arcade Battersea is set to open on Wednesday 26 July inside the Battersea Power Station.

The hall has seating for 500, and will feature Arcade’s direct-to-table ordering system, with only groups of 12+ requiring a reservation.

The interior design, by architects Red Deer, takes inspiration from the two eras the Power Station was built in, merging the 1920s with the 1950s mid-century style. Maintaining sustainability at the site also remains at the forefront.

All food brands in Arcade Battersea have been developed via Arcade Create, a partnership between Arcade and JKS Restaurants, a programme that helps new food talent launch a brand.

Four concepts feature on the menu, including Flat Bread by Thomas Straker, Siu Siu Cantonese inspired by roast meat shops in Hong Kong, and Phed Power, which serves food from Issan, Thailand.

Cokey Sulkin, COO of Arcade, said: “Arcade Battersea is an exciting addition to the South West London food scene.

“Not only is it a unique dining experience that allows for people of all ages to try different cuisines but it’s also an exciting offering to showcase new and emerging food brands that we have developed via the Arcade Create programme. We hope to have created a venue that people want to visit time and time again.”
