Cooks Coffee appoints new non-executive director

Elena Garside’s clients have previously included FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies, as well as privately owned businesses and global corporations

International “coffee-focused” café chain, Cooks Coffee, has announced the appointment of Elena Garside to the role of non-executive director effective immediately. 

Garside, who is based in the UK, is said to have “significant” experience in financial and ESG communications with a focus on advising on current and emerging trends within responsible investing and sustainable finance.

It is reported that her clients have previously included FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies, as well as privately owned businesses and global corporations.

She reportedly started her career in journalism before becoming a PR consultant with Bankside Consultants, Hudson Sandler, and New Century Media. 

In addition, Garside is the founder and CEO of Garside and Garside Limited which consults on ESG, media relations and reputational matters. She also holds a degree in journalism from St Petersburg State University and the London College of Communication.
