The Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG) has announced it will open its 27th Slim Chickens restaurant and the first in Tesco Extra this month in Redditch, on 17 August.

Located 15 miles south of Birmingham, the new 68-cover restaurant has been designed by AW Architectural Design and features exposed brick, industrial beams and the brand’s signature red colourway.

As well as in-restaurant dining, Slim Chickens will be offering Click and Collect, takeaway and delivery via Deliveroo, UberEats and Just Eat.

Diners will be able to download the Slim Chickens app to receive ongoing rewards and privileges.

Satnam Leihal, CEO at BRG, said: “Slim Chickens is creating local communities of chicken lovers across the country and our customers tell us they want one near them.

“We have identified locations nationwide for the brand from which we can serve our fresh, cooked-to-order chicken and Tesco’s Redditch Extra is a great place to start to support these plans.”
