The Vurger Co. is set for further expansion this month with a fourth restaurant opening in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter on 23 April.

The Vurger Co. site, which will be located in the Transmission House development, will be its “largest and most ambitious project to date”, with over 50 covers, and will be open seven days a week.

It joins the company’s existing sites in Canary Wharf, Shoreditch and Brighton and, like them, will also be walk-in only.

The restaurant offers dishes that only use 100% plant-based and ethically sourced products. All packaging is also made from plants and is fully compostable, with a guarantee that nothing goes to landfill.

The Manchester will include its classic offerings including its vegan mac ‘n cheese, vegan shake menu as well as burger favourites.

Rachel Hugh, co-founder of The Vurger Co., said: “This is a really exciting time for us at The Vurger Co. We’ve worked hard to establish ourselves in London and Brighton and can’t wait to be part of the thriving restaurant & food scene in Manchester, one of our favourite cities. Customers can expect amazing plant-based food, packed with texture & flavour that’s fun and delicious.”
