Pub group Marston’s, has announced that its CEO Ralph Findlay has been appointed as a non-executive director and chair designate of C&C Group, the drinks company, with effect from 1 March 2022.

In his new role, Findlay will subsequently succeed Stewart Gilliland as chair of C&C in July 2022.

As previously announced, Findlay notified the board earlier this year of his intention to step down from the role of CEO at the end of the current financial year ending 2 October 2021, at which time he will be succeeded by Andrew Andrea, currently CFO.

William Rucker, chairman of Marston’s, said: “I am delighted for Ralph on his forthcoming appointment at C&C and his continued involvement in the wider sector.

“He leaves with our very best wishes and on behalf of the board of directors and all at Marston’s I would like to wish him every success in his new role.”
