The London Gin Club has announced that it has become a part of the bar, restaurant, and club operator Inception Group.

Founded in 2009 with the opening of Barts in London, the group will now operate with a brand portfolio of six.

Due to relaunch in September, the London Gin Club will join names such as Mr Fogg’s, Cahoots, Bunga Bunga, and Maggie’s as Inception widens its footprint across South West and central London.

London Gin Club said in a Tweet: “To all our fantastic supporters. We are pleased to announce The Gin Club is becoming part of @Inception_Group.

“A wonderful team of people who will return with a grand re-opening in Sept. Exciting times for all as they continue our legacy & we explore new pursuits.”

Charles Gilkes, the co-founder of Inception, added: We are very excited the iconic Soho institution @LondonGinClub  is becoming part of @Inception_Group.

“We signed a 20 year lease today and can’t wait to continue the legacy created by Julia and Vicky. We are planning a grand reopening in September.”
