A Chinese restaurant is still serving takeaway despite the fact the front was destroyed after a car plowed through the window.

Last Friday night at around 10:40pm the front of the restaurant was hit by a car smashing the window.

Owners boarded the store up following the incident however sprayed on the front was the news that they were still open for takeaway service along with the restaurant’s telephone number.

A woman in the restaurant was taken to hospital following the crash, however she has since made a full recovery.

The driver of the car fled from the scene following the crash but police later arrested a 29 year old man in relation to the incident.
