Deliveroo and Pizza Express have announced a renewed national partnership with a two-year exclusive deal across the UK and Ireland.

Pizza Express first partnered with Deliveroo in 2016, and customers are now able to order from its pizzerias on Deliveroo in 105 UK towns and cities. In total under the new partnership, 290 Pizza Express restaurants will be available on Deliveroo.

As part of the new partnership in 2021, Pizza Express is also adopting Deliveroo’s new ‘Signature’ service to enable customers to order delivery directly via the Pizza Express website and social channels.

The service is “designed to help customers by offering a wide variety of options to order their favourite pizza” and to help “partners engage directly with their most loyal and valued customers, while utilising Deliveroo’s “logistics and full suite of services”.

Zoe Bowley, managing director at Pizza Express said: “Over the last year in particular, thousands of new customers have discovered the delight of having our delicious pizzas delivered to their door. The early results of our new partnership are already evident, with the last two weeks producing our highest ever sales weeks with Deliveroo.

“Thanks to our partnership, we’ve been able to reach new customers by expanding our delivery services and accelerate our innovation. We’re very excited about our plans for the partnership in the next two years, and the benefits this will bring to our customers.”

Stephen Goldstein, EVP restaurants at Deliveroo, added: “We are particularly excited about the prospect of increasing the visibility of our partnership – a true testament to the new and innovative ways Deliveroo is creating opportunities to work strategically with our restaurant partners to reach new customers.”
