Langham Hospitality Group has announced the appointment of Chris King as its new director of food and beverage.

King began his career at the hotel group over 10 years ago as head chef at Roux at the Landau, having worked alongside many Michelin-starred chefs previously.

Prior to his new role, the Connecticut-native culinarian was the executive chef at The Langham in London.

As well as his position at The Langham, King will now front and lead the new direction of the hospitality group’s food and beverage initiatives across its portfolio.

Among his more successful food and beverage concepts was The Langham’s first cookery school, Sauce by The Langham.

In 2017, King was awarded Hotel Chef of the Year at the Hotel Catey Awards.

Furthermore, King’s new position within the hotel group will involve him overseeing the development of its new restaurant and bar projects around the world.
