Rudy’s, a Neapolitan pizzeria, is set to expand its portfolio with an opening in Stockton Heath, according to the Warrington Guardian.

The Cheshire property will hold capacity for 50 customers, with a downstairs kitchen also included in the plans.

It will be the seventh UK site for the businesses that was founded in 2015 by Jim Morgan and Kate Wilson.

The brand commenced with one site in Ancoats, Manchester, and has since grown to operate over six restaurants across Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds, and Sale.

Despite the plans, there is “no time frame” in place for the Stockton Heath restaurant, as the pandemic continues to cause closures for physical properties throughout the UK.

Known for its 24-hour fermented dough, the chain is backed by Manchester-based Mission Mars hospitality group.

The group, which has also invested in the Bavarian beer hall Albert’s Schloss, received £10m of funding from the Business Growth Fund (BGF) in 2018.
