Shake Shack have begun their annual British Shake Sale to benefit Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food campaign.

The Great British Shake Sale is an initiative taking place across all UK Shake Shack locations from 1 – 31 October 2021.

The goal is to raise awareness and funds to help end childhood hunger.

Throughout the sale, guests who donate £2 or more to Action Against Hunger – either in-Shack, or via online ordering will receive a voucher for a complimentary hand-spun shake redeemable on their next visit to Shake Shack. 100% of donations will go to Action Against Hunger.

For the first time in the UK, Shake Shack is introducing the Lemon Meringue Pie Shake, featuring lemon curd custard blended with meringue topped with whipped cream and crispy pie crust.

John Berberich, Shake Shack’s business director, said: “Every year, we are blown away and humbled by the support our guests and team members have for the Great British Shake Sale.

“We are proud to partner again with Action Against Hunger to help end child hunger across the world.”

Jean Michel Grand, executive director of Action Against Hunger, added: “The world is facing a global hunger pandemic with millions of people suffering from lack of food due to poverty, climate change, conflict and Covid. Our UK restaurants and those eating out are in a fantastic and unique position to make an impact in the fight against global hunger.”
