The Vineyard Hotel in Newbury, Berkshire, has announced the launch of a brand-new outdoor dining concept: OutSide, expanding its dining options alongside The Tasting Room and The Vineyard Restaurant.

Located just 30 minutes from London, OutSide is located opposite The Vineyard’s lobby, amongst the hotel’s manicured gardens, offering diners cocktails, flavours of California and the Mediterranean drinkable tipples.

OutSide’s carefully curated menu focuses on small plates and sharing boards such as Argentinian Red Prawns and Ibérico Tomatoes.

OutSide’s menu also celebrates The Vineyard’s close connection with California with dishes such as Californian Spiced Corn “ribs” and Californian Spiced Fries, which are a “firm favourite” on The Vineyard’s a la carte dining menu.

The Vineyard’s food takes inspiration from the hotel’s California heritage, whilst all ingredients are sourced from local fishermen, farmers and the hotel’s herb garden.

OutSide’s menu honours The Vineyard’s close network of local suppliers including Beale’s Farm and produce from Wye Valley and Royal Windsor.

Alongside the dining menu for OutSide, The Vineyard offers a drinks menu including an array of cocktails and no or low alcohol drinks.

The Vineyard said: “OutSide is inspired by The Vineyard’s winery in California, embracing the essence of The Vineyard in al fresco style, with seasonal small plates, deliciously fresh tacos and delights from the grill, accompanied by carefully chosen and curated wines from The Vineyard’s prestigious collection of over 30,000 bottles from both the New and Old World.”
