Ex-Nobu chef Scott Hallsworth has announced the opening of his first bricks and mortar Freak Scene site in Parsons Green this month on Wednesday 22 March.
Hallsworth, who has been recognised globally as a “pan-Asian cooking pioneer”, has previously launched restaurants in Melbourne, St. Tropez, Bodrum, Jeddah, Zermatt, Chamonix, Nairobi, Cape Town, Toronto, and London.
The Freak Scene first started as a pop-up in Farringdon back in August 2017, which now will be established in Parsons Green, Fulham, with 46 covers.
Once open, the venue will serve 15 classics from its pop-up days, which will include Singapore chilli crab wonton bombs, fried chicken with peanut soy, salmon sashimi pizza with truffle ponzu, and black cod tacos with scorched red chilli salsa, among other dishes.
Bookings are now open via Hallsworth’s booking partner Seven Rooms ahead of the restaurant’s opening on 22 March.
Hallsworth said: “I’m stoked to be back in Fulham, almost a decade after I launched my first post-Nobu restaurant on the King’s Road.”
