The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel, has announced the appointment of Chris Hill as its new executive chef.

Within his new role, Hill will oversee operations at the Adam Handling Chelsea restaurant and bar, as well as the hotel’s private and in-room dining.

Hill brings with him a diverse culinary background, including both classic cooking and modern techniques with the expertise to deliver a “luxury experience” in all food and beverage departments of the hotel.

His experience spans 18 years within the industry, having worked for The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and at Chrsitian Jürgens’ three Michelin Star restaurant in Germany.

Having achieved the Master of Culinary Arts Award and being named amongst the UK’s national selection for the Bocuse d’Or in 2017, Hill went on to spend five years at Whatley Manor, where he worked his way up to sous chef.

He said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the exceptionally talented team at The Cadogan, and it couldn’t be at a better time, as we reopen the hotel this week.

“I’m looking forward to leading the team at Adam Handling Chelsea and ensuring all guests enjoy a luxury gourmet experience across all areas of the hotel.”
