Rare Restaurants, owners of Gaucho and M Restaurants, has appointed Jamie Mitchell and Tom Dixon to its board.

The pair bring with them a “wealth” of experience to Rare Restaurants which formed in April when the SC Lowy and Investec entity that acquired Gaucho in October 2018, acquired M Restaurants.

Mitchell has over 25 years of experience in the industry, and has spent time at Tom Dixon as CEO, as will serve as non-executive chairman. Mann joins as a non-executive director, after formerly being CFO and co-MD of Gaucho.

Martin Williams,CEO, Rare Restaurants, said: “We are delighted that Jamie and Gary have joined the Rare Restaurants board; Their sector expertise and vast brand experience will undoubtedly help guide the company through its next ambitious chapter.”
