Prezzo has announced that it is set to embark on a programme of refurbishing its restaurants with several having already completed their transformations.

In the last three months, Prezzo has completed several refurbishments of select restaurants across the UK, whilst more refurbishments across other venues will be taking place in 2025.

The plans have a focus on outdoor dining areas in particular and 20 Prezzo sites have received outdoor upgrades, including restoration of outdoor furniture. These sites include Braintree, Bath, Manchester and Bristol.

Prezzo Lakeside also recently underwent a large refurbishment project, with the restaurant re-opening its doors earlier this month following the completion of the works.

It comes just a year after the chain closed 46 restaurants, over a third of its estate, citing rising costs as the cause.

Most recently Prezzo posted pre-tax profits of £5.4m in 2023 compared with a loss of £31.5m the previous year.

Alongside this, an increase in menu prices and cost saving initiatives saw its gross profit margin increase from 35.6% to 40.2%.
