Açai hub Oakberry has announced it is set to debut in London on Rathbone Place on 16 September.

The brand is planning to launch multiple new locations in London this year, with ambitious growth plans in the pipeline across the UK.

Oakberry, launched first in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2016 and is now present in over 600 locations across the globe.

Oakberry sources only the “finest” açai berries, sustainably farmed in its very own location, dubbed Oakville.

According to Oakberry, it’s the only açai on the market that is certified 100% organic, vegan, non-GMO, organic and free of artificial preservatives, food colourings and syrups.

The menu features an array of options packed with antioxidants and “energy-boosting” nutrients.

Customers can create and customise their bowls, choosing from three sizes, with a selection of unlimited toppings such as seasonal fruit, peanut butter and chia pudding, each layered between açai.

Oakberry also offers customisable smoothies, protein bars, matcha and high-quality specialty coffee.

The flagship site will offer 45 covers across two levels and will feature splashes of purple throughout, alongside wooden benches, high top tables, and a downstairs seating area with plenty of foliage.

Angela Bernardes, national marketing director at Oakberry, said: “As a Brazilian, bringing Oakberry to London is a dream come true. Our aim is to introduce Londoners to the best açai on the market. We want to change the way fast food is perceived by providing a delicious, natural, and nutritious experience as quickly as possible. This is just the start of our journey in the UK.”
