NEOS Hospitality has acquired the former Tiger Tiger site on Haymarket in London’s West End, securing its first venue in the capital as part of a wider expansion strategy.

The landmark building will undergo a multi-million pound redevelopment, with the new hospitality venue scheduled to open in late summer 2026.

The project follows more than a year of discussions with the landlord, Criterion Capital.

The former Tiger Tiger, once a “prominent feature” of London’s nightlife, will be fully redeveloped into a new all-day and late-night hospitality concept.

NEOS said the venue would be designed to trade from daytime through to late night, reflecting changing consumer expectations in the West End.

The investment will include a complete interior refurbishment, new layouts intended to support all-day trading, and upgraded lighting and sound systems.

Further details of the concept are expected to be announced in early 2026.

Criterion Capital, which owns a large portfolio across the West End, said the redevelopment aligned with its longer-term approach to repositioning buildings in high-footfall areas such as Piccadilly Circus and Haymarket.

Russell Quelch, chief executive, said: “Securing the Haymarket site is a very significant moment for NEOS. Tiger Tiger was an icon of London nightlife, and transforming this landmark location into something completely new is an opportunity we’ve approached with ambition and care.

“After working closely with the landlord, Criterion Capital, for over a year, we’re confident this redevelopment will deliver a standout destination for the city. This will be our first London venue and represents a major step forward in our growth strategy.”

Omar Aziz, deputy managing director, added: “We’re thrilled to partner with NEOS Hospitality to bring a new destination to the heart of London’s West End. Piccadilly Circus and Haymarket are some of the most visited streets in the world, with over 100 million people passing through each year.

“As long-term stewards of the West End, we are committed to reimagining underutilised spaces to create destinations that excite both visitors and locals.”
