Marketing duo to open new East London restaurant

The owners of marketing agency Crowdify Global are set to open a new neighbourhood restaurant and bar in East London on 12 April. 

James Rix and Fergus Harrington have worked for almost 20 years as event promoters and have sold a range of events brands and marketing businesses. 

This led the pair to open a marketing services group, Crowdify Global, which “offers face-to-face marketing services, graphic and digital design, social media and digital marketing, events and youth marketing services”. 

The venue, Knowhere Special is located between Old Street and Angel, and serves ‘British Small Plates’ and cocktail drinks – with all the food locally sourced. 

Within the premises, there are a number of bookable private rooms, for functions and meetings. 

James Rix said: “We are incredibly excited to be taking this new step from event promoters to venue owners. This is a  great opportunity to be opening a brand-new venue with exquisite cocktails and fantastic food. 

“We want to create a venue that we, as 38-year-old business owners, would want to hang out in. We can’t wait to welcome everyone into Knowhere Special and see where the journey takes us.”
