Las Iguanas has announced the opening of its new Canterbury location, taking up residence on the corner of High Street and Longmarket from 26 September, its first Kent location.

The new 200-cover restaurant and cocktail bar will feature Las Iguanas’ signature tropical green plant walls, flashes of neon, lustrous Mexican tiling and standout murals.

All of this stretches across two floors with two bars, regular late-night opening and DJ sessions. Two large outdoor terraces provide more seating.

Josh Stringer, general manager at the new Las Iguanas, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing our iconic flavours of Latin America to Canterbury. We have brought together a fantastic team, creating over 30 new jobs, and we hope we’ll quickly get to know everyone and see them stopping by regularly to try some of our delicious dishes, sip cocktails in the bar, bring friends for Bottomless Brunch, or use Las Iguanas to celebrate life’s good bits.

“We’ve just opened bookings for Christmas and have lots of ways for you to party, from a set Christmas menu to late Bottomless Brunches, so do get in touch if you are looking for the hottest Christmas ticket in town.”
