Honest Burgers has announced it is to open its first Liverpool and Manchester restaurants, with the Manchester site set to open as soon as this summer.

The London-based burger chain is said to be looking at moving outside of the capital due to ever increasing competition.

Manchester Hall will host the company’s first Manchester restaurant where it will be joined by another London-based chain, Indian restaurant Dishoom.

Honest Burgers’ new Liverpool site is set to open in 2019 with a location not yet announced, the restaurant will be the chain’s first on Merseyside.

While London’s chains expand out of the capital, it was announced two months ago that northern chef Gary Usher, famous for his Sticky Walnut restaurant was looking at a site in Hackney, the site would be Usher’s first London restaurant.
