Following the success of its Piccadilly Gardens location, Franco Manca has announced new branch openings on King Street (Monday 13 June), The Trafford Centre (Monday 20 June), and Didsbury (Monday 4 July) in Manchester.
The King Street location has already opened to the public this week, with The Trafford Centre and Didsbury due to follow shortly after. The brand is offering 50% off all pizzas and salads from the lunchtime menu at launch to diners “to celebrate” the openings.
The pizzeria was founded by Giuseppe Mascoli near Naples First and the company aims to “honours the ingredients and methods that make the age-old style of Neapolitan pizza unique, delicious and world-renowned”.
Franco Manca pizzas are made with slow-rising sourdough, with a mother dough which dates back to the late 18th Century, and “topped with fresh, properly sourced, seasonal ingredients”. Dough is said to be made fresh on site, with daily specials on offer, and menu prices starting at just £5.95.
Simone Annette, area manager at Franco Manca, said: “Following on from the success of our Piccadilly Gardens location, it was clear that we should continue our investment in Manchester, so we went for not one, not two, but three new locations to cater for the city.
“Our sourdough, unique to Franca Manca, is sure to go down well with passers by looking to get a slice of authentic Italian pizza. So, if you’re in the city, or just passing through, please drop in and enjoy 50% off our entire menu to celebrate the launch.”
