Chopstix has opened its new Exeter site this week, its 26th and final opening of 2022.
Located on Exeter High Street, this latest restaurant opening brings the total estate up to 90 sites.
Having announced the appointment of the company’s first franchise director this year, the opening of the first partner sites with leading UK holiday operators, Haven and Butlins, and a partnership with established QSR franchise, Sparta Foods, Chopstix has said it is planning to accelerate further into franchising over the coming 12 months.
Chopstix co-founder, Sam Elia, said: “2022 has felt like a real watershed moment for Chopstix. For several years, we’ve worked really hard to build our team and fine-tune our operational processes to make this a scalable business that we can really grow rapidly, so it’s been amazing to see the fruits of our labour this year with new stores all across the UK, from Exeter to Livingston, Cwmbran to Norwich.”
Co-founder, Menashe Sadik, added: “It’s not just the pace of growth that really excites us, it’s the versatility and nationwide popularity of the brand that points to the scale of potential we have in this concept.
“When you dive into each of these 26 site openings, it’s plain to see the brand’s success is not restricted to a set model or location, with sites in service stations, petrol station forecourts, holiday resorts, shopping centres and high streets all delivering excellent returns. This has been our biggest year of growth yet, but the best is yet to come.”
