Chopstix will continue its growth programme by opening its 2nd site in Norwich later this month.

The new restaurant, located on Gentleman’s Walk, will be owned and operated by the company. With further site openings across both ownership models in the pipeline, the pan-Asian QSR brand is set to pass the 100-site mark by the end of the year.

Established in Camden Market in 2002 by entrepreneurs Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik, Chopstix celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The Chopstix group comprises over 80 locations across the UK and Ireland through a mix of company owned and operated locations and franchise sites run through partnerships with the likes of holiday resort Haven, Welcome Break and Applegreen.

Jon Lake, managing director for Chopstix, said: “Over the last 12-months we have directed significant energy and resources to identifying new locations with high potential, by undertaking an extensive programme of market mapping and by recognising regions where existing stores boast impressively strong sales data, such as in Norwich.

“These insights have guided our growth strategy and have been key to the speed at which Chopstix has expanded this year. It’s fantastic to be opening a second site in Norwich and it’s incredibly exciting to see how well the brand is performing across the UK and Ireland.”
