Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa appoints new executive chef

Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa in rural Wiltshire has announced the appointment of Philip Lewis as executive chef.

With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Lewis began his career in Ayrshire as a commis chef and has since worked around the globe including London, Austria and Australia.

The hotel was purchased by The Kaleidoscope Collection in the summer of 2021 and is newly listed as a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of The World consortium.

Lewis said: ‘‘Joining Bishopstrow is an exciting opportunity to amalgamate both my personal style and the flamboyant spirit of the Kaleidoscope Collection to create something special for the restaurant’s rebranding. The emphasis on the customer experience is second to none and there are lots of innovations and surprises to come.’’
