Aqua Restaurant Group has announced the opening of contemporary Japanese restaurant Shiro in late November 2022. This is the brand’s fifth location in the UK and will be located in Liverpool Street’s Broadgate Circle.

It is reported that restaurant and bar Shiro is “hugely” popular in Hong Kong where the brand was started and serves a menu inspired by Ginza, Shinjuku, and Shibuya in Tokyo

The menu will reportedly include Shiro-invented ‘crystal sushi’ and ramens, as well as the brand’s “competitively-priced” lunchtime sets of bento boxes, sake-based cocktails and Japanese beers.

The new venue will be located in Broadgate’s upper circle close to Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations.

According to the brand, it’s contemporary but “true to the roots” of Japanese cuisine.
